Who We Are?

We are a non government organization composed of Filipino chatters in many parts of the world who regularly played trivia games in the WW2BAM Room which is housed at the "User Room" of the Philippines "Yahoo Public Rooms"

Our Past

The acronym WW2BAM stands for (Who Wants 2 Be A Millionaire) based on the popular TV game show. Sometime in 2001 this room was created to play trivia, meet other trivia enthusiasts, or just hang around with other Filipinos. These chatters are driven by their love of trivia and the Filipino camaraderie that keeps them coming and staying in this room for the last 2 years. As the days goes on, a very worthy and noble effort to be able to help the less fortune brothers and sisters in the Philippines, took place through an Outreach Program that was organized and financially supported by the WW2BAM chatters in February 2003. This project has foster bonding, friendship and pride of accomplishment among ww2bam chat citizenship.

How It All Got Started?

After the successful Outreach Project at San Lazaro Hospital, there are suggestions to make the ww2bam a formal organization, so we can do fund raising, to be able to conduct outreach project on a regular basis. It took awhile for these thoughts to sink in and questions of who will be willing to take the responsibilities to do this very demanding task, since we all of us are busy in our own lives.

Sometime in August 2003, Kandong King posted an idea for a project, to get a domain name, it will be self-liquidating in the sense that we will be selling e-mail accounts at around $5.00/yr to chatters but will also allot the accounts to sponsors and people who have helped ww2bam, like moderators, organizers, QM's and Scorers. There are a few chatters who have responded to this idea, it took months, before things have been put into shape.

So what happed next?

A group of dedicated chatters have group together and decided that since we are going to embark on a new challenge, another Outreach Project for this year (2004) we thought we may have to push through purchasing a domain name.

Thanks to a very generous chatter who have offered to pay our web hosting fee. It was also decided to make the ww2bam a non government organization, but we can not use this name, because of legal issues, copyright etc.

We need a new name, out of the blue pimp_daddy_buddha have come up with "tribyalista ".You might be wondering what TRIBYALISTA means and where the name came from. Well... TRIBYALISTA: the definition ---- a person who likes to play trivia games.

We now have our own website - www.tribyalista.org. Thanks to the efforts of stoner _on_a _bicycle for maintaining the forum and the website.

Our Challenge

A lot of things have happened along the way. People come and go. A lot of regular trivia players have disappeared, nobody would like to QM. We have lost our high caliber, hardworking QM's and scorers. We have done everything to get rid of booters. Players don't come anymore in the room, attendance become a big problem, how can you host a game with one or two players, some people park their sn in the room for the whole day, just to keep the room open, ww2bam chatters have been whinging about the situation. And out of the blue a new trivia room just emerge, ww2bam players are now playing in this room. And the latest thing that strike our room is the disappearanced of all yahoo user room, thank God we have found a temporary sanctuary at the Entertainment & Arts (under Television) called Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

Our challenge today is to find ways in which our room will come back to life again. We need to attract more people and get more people to QM in the WW2BAM room.Somebody says "you want more people?" then QM in the room. But no matter how long one has been away from chatting, I am sure you will agree that you will always have to check and see what's going on in your favorite room even just in watch mode. One thing is sure people still want to chat, play trivia and mingle with good old time friends in a familiar and friendly surrounding.

As one of the ww2bam chatter states "I just want to keep the very essence of this room to be alive. "A trivia room with a heart. The "heart" factor are the people who frequents this room and kept (keeps) it alive for more than 3 years now."

The Art of QM'ing

The Quiz Master

Who's the QM? " the most popular person in the chat room is the QM. There will be no quiz show if there is no QM... How do you qualify to be a QM in the WW2BAM Chat Room? Anybody can be a QM as long as you have questions to asked, but not all can be a good qm. It takes patience, time and practice to be a good QM. Generally, QM's spent some time researching, preparing questions and visiting other trivia sites, to be able to host a show. There are also recycled questions, these are questions that have been used, and asked over and over again.

Some QM's are very creative, they rephrased the Q's or asked it in Tagalog. Basically, most of the questions are informative and a lot of chatters have honestly admitted that they have learned a lot since they joined this chatroom. But there are QM's who asked silly questions, others are funny, a few are x-rated, a handful asked questions that are out of this world...whatever it is ...it is still information. If you will be online the whole day you will meet a lot of QM's. Some are strict, some are lenient, some are frilly, some are stylish, some are formal, some don't say much but others do. Aside from the regular question and answer game, different kinds of games have been invented by the chatters and qm's like dictionary game, alphabet games, name that tune game, etc.

You don't get anything for being a QM, its the fun, the learning and hanging out with these guys that makes it interesting. For the last two years the chatters of WW2BAM room have been graced by talented and wonderful QMs all round the globe. As a way of thanking them, we have recognized and voted for the 10 Top QM for 2002 and 2003. Read what the chatters think about the QMs... Tribute to WW2BAM QMs (taken from the WW2BAM Forum)
If you are planning to be a QM, don't forget to check on the next topic "How To Be A Good QM?"

How To Be A Good QM?

1. You must have at least 30 - 35 questions to host a game of race to 5
2. You must know how to cut and paste... Ctrl C Ctrl V
3. You should acknowledged the person who gave the correct answer.
4. You should post the correct answer.
5. You should asked questions of different categories unless you choose to have a one category game.
6. You must give clues.
7. You must set rules before the game starts, like wrong spelling is a wrong answer
8. You must be flexible and accept if you have made a mistake. Dont' just say QM Rules!
9. You should Never ask a "Why" question!
10. You should check your source !!! things do change....
11. You should have more than two sn, just in case the booter attacks when you are qming you can come back with another sn....and continue the game....
12. QM needs a Scorer...make sure that your scorer can catch up with you.. don't post the next question before the scorer can post the scores. and don't forget to thank the scorer at the end of the game.

Lastly, you must not be color blind...QM used RED FONTS.

~Remember, you can not please everybody.~

Sabagay, considering the time and effort that QMs (like me) give, dapat lahat talaga panalo. Considering the control, the demeanor pag may makukulit na chatters, dapat pa ngang bigyan ng monumento lahat ng QMs. There are a lot of rowdy chatters (you know who you are) na walang magawa but to say "shit" (sorry po) about the QMs and the QMs questions--like "your questions are as boring as you"--"wala na bang mas matino pang tanong?"; "next QM please" (while the game is ongoing); etc. I would say, please respect the QM and each other. Don't show off your lack of character by doing all these. It's not easy to host a trivia game. We should at least be thankful for all these QMs who go out of their way to keep the room alive and fun.

Remember--we don' pay these QMs so let us not pay them back with rudeness and unkind words.

QM and Scorer Volunteers

Subject: QM and Scorer Volunteers

Message: Now that a lot of complaints and lamentations are being posted here by our co-chatters, I guess we have to do something about them NOW. Nothing can be done if we keep on discussing these things here. I think what should be done next is to find ways and implement them to improve the state of our room. Let us all put everything behind and move on. I have some suggestions to make and some of these are just reiterations of what's been said already.

1) Let us all make it a rule to click the ignore button for these chatters everytime they enter the room: Tame_the_tikbalang and Lady_thorough. Anyone who acknowledges them and entertains them will be ignored by ALL chatters. Kosme and Carpe have been pleading everybody to do this. This also goes to those other pests that visit our room.
2) All regulars who are "hiding" behind new sn's especially those we have been missing -- please please, balik na kayo (sabi nga ni Skyboy). You can still use your new sn's if you want to but let us know na kayo yan. There's this impression that a lot of oldies left the room already. Little do we know na hindi naman pala and that you are just using different names. Some even tried changing their personalities. I know someone and it's kinda hurting kasi we're friends before (I think..) and now he's so aloof na para bang wala kaming pinagsamahan.

3) Whatever happens, let us avoid creating a new room. Ever since our room started, andyan na sila. I felt really bad kanina when I visited the room and someone was asking "some" people to "move" to the "quarantine" because of the booter daw. Eh wala namang booter. This guy was just picking his friends. You will feel tuloy na exclusive lang yon between friends. By invitation lang kasi. Buti hindi nag-alisan mga tao. Thanks to "An Asshole" who started a game. I think it will help ww2bam more if we maintain ONE room only. Or if you really want to move then EVERYBODY should move. Walang maiiwan (except of course the booters and cyberpests).

4) We are all custodians of this room and it should all be our responsibility to make this room a decent place. However, we still need some volunteers to implement what needs to be implemented. If we want change, we need to do something. We cannot just stand in one corner and ask "what happened to our room?" and talk and lament and move away with very unpleasant memories and scars.

5) RESPECT. Respect one another. Need I say more? Any other suggestions? Any volunteers? Siguro it will work if we pledge to do something for this room and sticking to it. I'll start by pledging to be a QM during my timeslot (10-12MN EST) kung walang QM. Everytime I will QM, I'll make it a point to have a scorer ALWAYS to have a more organized game. I will not start without a scorer. I will ignore all trouble makers. Everytime I QM, I do this. But sometimes when I'm not, I cannot help but answer them back especially yung mga walang galang. Para ma avoid ko nang kumulo ang dugo ko at tumaas BP at stress level ko, I will ignore every pest everytime. I pledge not to comment on anything in this forum that is negative. For those of you who want change and who would like to do something about it--paki pledge po dito. AGAIN, LET US LEAVE EVERYTHING BEHIND AND START ANEW. Spring cleaning ba kahit fall na ..

Message: Whoa!!!! Welcome back Rene. (if rene is here, can mdef be far behind? - - let's hope not [kidding!]). Of all the suggestions made....the one I like best is "using your original SN"....I've asked this before, and I am asking this again.."why do chatters use different SNs?"... Come back folks as your original SN....(so while we will miss a certain chatter named "Megan", she will now come back using her orignal SN ---> Boytetano! And now it can be revealed....the loveable Lady_Kulit's original SN is TADAHHH ...... "jasper_of_discreet_ _men_room". ) Many things have been posted about the state of the room... Who is doing what, and who is doing who (j/k). And while I read with amusement (and at some point, alarm [not unlike to what I feel when I am constipated]) from our little mansion in San Juan..., I kept thinking....."where is Marjie when you need her?".... I'm sure her take on this is enough to give aneurysm to all of us. It's not late Marj...I want to hear your opinion on crumbs (as in tinapay, monay, tasty , pan-de-sal, pande coco, and pande-hostess Marj.... and not the crumbs that you feel when you have your monthly period).
Yup. I miss apollo, I miss albie, I miss fun_duck (geesh... why am I missing only boys??? hahaha...ok, ok...I miss seven pentacles [i hope seven is indeed a girl as she claimed to be when we were doing cyber.... j/k). But it doesn't mean that I don't enjoy the company of cooter, river, jet (geesh...boys again????!!! .....ok, ok... Epang [whose gender is still a subject of debate] , Megan, Dina, Ivette, Jerma ( ---> a confirmed woman...but sadly, an old one). As a pledge, I will try my very best not to be overly cute as to even eclipse the attention given to the QM and the scorer. This will be hard but I will try. I will be patient by listening / reading more than talking / typing. (understand though that such is the life when you live on borrowed time -----> yes, my P100 prepaid card is almost always about to expire). Some people may find me obnoxious but hey...if you want the boy-next-door type.....then, go next door! Hahaha. Again, welcome back to the fold.

if i may, slight correction lang po...
although a common mistake, Vincent van Gogh is not an impressionist artist exactly. He stands among Paul Cezanne, Georges Seurat, Paul Gaugin as a post-impressionist artist. Post-impressionists used the innovations of the Impressionists but were nevertheless a distinct group or movement.
Besides those correctly listed, impressionist artists include: Edgar Degas, Edouard Manet and Camille Pissarro.

Feb 11, 2004

Ivette and I arrived at San Lazaro Hospital around 1:30PM. Shortly thereafter, Melody and Ms Beth Castro (representative of the Kabayan-Yamato Filipino Community) joined us. We were met at the entrance by Ms Rose Mendoza, the head nurse of the training office. We turned over the medical supplies (our heartfelt gratitude to the Kabayan-Yamato Group) to the newly appointed director of San Lazaro Hospital, Dr. Arturo Cabanban. Praxis and his cousin Sonny joined us later and helped us in distributing the loot bags for the young patients and fruits to the older patients.

Kandong King was supposed to join us that afternoon but unfortunately the cab that he was in was involved in a minor accident. Fortunately, our dear Rene wasn’t hurt. After distributing the loot bags and fruits, the group parted ways but met that evening together with the other chatters at Giligan’s Island for the Valentine’s Day EB.

Nice work people, it's a fitting first project for our organization now known as Tribyalista Inc. or it's virtual counterpart www.tribyaista.org (coming soon).

Our heartfelt thanks to our counterparts in Japan, the Kabayan-Yamato Filipino Community, whose generosity has made this Outreach Project possible.Below is a copy of the letter of acceptance from Dr. Cabanban the OIC of the San Lazaro Hospital.

Internet Prayer

In my heart.....

Dear Lord:
Every single evening
As I'm lying here in bed,
This tiny little prayer
Keeps running through my head.
God bless my siblings and parents,
Our home and every family.
Keep them warm and safe from harm
For they're so close to me.
And God, there is one more thing
I wish that you could do.
Hope you don't mind me asking,
But please bless my computer too.
Now I know that it's not normal
To bless a motherboard,
But listen just a second
While I explain to you, my Lord.
You see, that little metal box
Holds more than odds & ends
Inside those small compartments
Rest many of my dear FRIENDS.
Some it's true, I've never seen,
And most I've never met,
We've never hugged each other
Or shared a meal as yet.
My heart tells me they like me
By the kindness that they give,
And this little scrap of metal
Is how I visit where they live.
By faith is how I know them,
Much the same as you,
We share in what life brings us
And from that our friendship grew.
Lord, please take an extra minute
From your duties up above,
To bless those in my address book
That's filled with so much love!
Wherever else this prayer may reach
To each and every friend,
Bless each email inbox
And the person who hits send.
When you update your heavenly list
On your own CD-Rom
Remember each who've said this prayer
Sent up to God.com

Cafe' Havana

Dogs and brown-skinned natives are not allowed here...
Name: Anonymous
Date Posted: Mar 10, 03 - 4:38 PM

Message: This is a letter to the editor of the Philippine Collegian published February 21, 2003.

Dear Madam,

I thought it only happens in the novels of Ralph Ellison. But I was wrong. I met racism face to face at the entrance of Café Havana in Green Belt Makati last Saturday, February 8, 2003.

As I and my companions approach the café's door, at around 12 midnight, the six-foot tall Filipino guard apprehended me. He consequently told me that I'm not allowed to enter due to my attire. I would have accepted his alibi if I had not seen white men in tee shirts freely entering and leaving the premises. So I countered and ask the guard, 'why won't you let me in when I am wearing a long-sleeved shirt, while those white men are just in their plain tees?'
Seemingly irritated by my question, the guard told me: 'Café Havana 'to. Priority namin ang foreigner.' I was stunned that I remained standing in front of the entrance. I could not believe the reality of my experience. But it was not yet enough for the guard, he ultimately told me: 'kung hindi kita papasukin, may magagawa ka ba?' Surprised beyond words, I left, bewildered.

Looking back at what happened, I could not blame the security guard alone. Sometimes some guards are like dogs; they only follow what their masters wished. Moreover, I'm not insulted that someone, who cannot even write a decent Spanish sentence, would verbally push me away from a pseudo-Hispanic commercial establishment. I'm rather shocked by the fact that I suffered the most savage form of racism not in a foreign land but in my own country and in the hands of people of my color.

Café Havana's management policy is no doubt disturbing and prejudiced. What happened to me and my companions is not a surely isolated case, but a determined result of the management's view that the indio is inferior to the white man. What happened is nothing but a practice of the company's unstated racist policy. What happened is but a ramification of a policy that is unconsciously propagated by a semi-colonial state, a state that kowtows to foreign capital. Racism, in short, is never incidental.

Any policy that springs from racism is indeed not appropriate for any establishment that gets permit to operate from the government, a government supposedly by Filipinos. I wish that Café Havana's management would amend and reassess its barbaric policy before more people suffer the same fate. For if it remains firm on its racist practices, I would suggest that Café Havana put up a signboard which says: 'Dogs and brown-skinned natives are not allowed here.' That at least would be more humane.

I was sad upon reading the article. I got mad because I couldn't believe what happened to Mang Jose. It's pretty ridiculous to know that in our own land such inhumane act is happening which is the discrimination of the Filipino people by foreigners. I grow up watching other people treated unfairly by authorities and even normal individuals. Because of that I learned how to fight such acts. I don't tolerate racism and discrimination. I am totally against racism because I do believe that man no matter what race or color or whatever factor is at stake should be treated equally.

I just recently moved to a multi-racial country expecting that I can be a victim of racism and discrimination. I expected that could possibly happen because of social, cultural, religious, physical, and social differences. And yes my expectation is right; discrimination is still common here especially to people with Asian descent. I was discriminated but I fought back. As I said I don't tolerate it. If I were Jose I should've forced the guard to let me in and I'll talk to the manager of the cafe. I'll reason out that there isn't any sign that says " DRESS CODE IN EFFECT" and I'll point out that if ever there’s a dress code why then that they are letting in the white people in T-shirts or whatever clothes they’re wearing. If I will be on this situation I'll call the media and ask for help. I will also ask the government why are they tolerating this kind of attitude. Are they playing blind again? Wake up!!! I think it’s also the time for the Filipino people not to tolerate these acts. We should know our rights and learn to fight back. But sometimes it’s also our fault because until now we still have high regards to other races, especially the white people. Our colonial mentality still exists, well some of us I should say. We should also learn how to appreciate being a true Filipino. Be proud of it. I ain't an activist against white people or whatever race or nationality I am just against racism.

Sometimes, I think Filipinos are so generous when it comes to other races. We give them so much important and we let them see how we act towards them. We sometimes tend to act as if they are gods and goddesses. What will it cost us? They might be thinking that they are so superior that’s why we act like that. Yah being generous is part of our culture. We are known to be like that. We are famous to be like that. But too much is too much. It might hit you back negatively. Know your rights and stop racism!!!

hmmm... when we pinoys go abroad, we try to learn that country's language, but then when foreigners visit our land, we still try to accomodate them by trying to talk to them in their language. kelan ba tayo titigil maging mabait?

i am not actually surprised with this kinda situation in the Philippines. i went to the Phil once and i felt like a princess, why? simply because i speak english, and i got credit cards.

why did i say this? once in Boracay, my cousin and i went to eat in a certain restaurant. my cuz was so shy to approach the manager when we had a lame salad for appetizer. being born and raised in canada, i do careless but i am aware of the fact that costumers should be served well and duh!!!my cuz is a school supervisor .i argued with the manager and my cuz was so surprised for what i did. he never thought i could complain with such authority. i never carried cash and when the waitress saw my card, she suddenly became sweet and more respectful. and she even asked me, *Are you balikbayan, ma'am?* i said, no, i am a visitor. and she said, Welcome, ma'am. That surprised me!!!! Filipinos are fond of saying, "boss" or "bossing", "ma'am" making themselves feel inferior.

And with this issue, it sucks to know ur fellow filipino does it to u ( ( ( oh well, this issue raised a good point about racisim. i went home only once so this is all i can say...We are all filipinos and hey come on! it's ur brotha!!!! HAVE RESPECT!!!!

Problema ko to!

utang kay mom = 49 price of shirt = 97
utang kay dad = 49 extra piso = 1
total utang = 98 total 98

97 (cost of t-shirt)+ 1 (remaining cash na nasa iyo

solution :

(50+50)-(1+1) = 97+1
100 - 2 = 98
98 = 98

utang to dad = 50
utang to mom = 50
total utang = 100
cost of t-shirt = 97
sukli after buying t-shirt = 3
give piso to dad = 1
give piso to mom = 1
leftover piso from sukli = 1
utang to dad (after bigay ang piso) = 49
utang to mom (after bigay ang piso) = 49
total utang left (49 + 49) = 98
leftover piso = 1
give the leftover piso to dad
utang to dad (after 2 extra piso) = 48
utang to mom (after bigay 1st piso) = 49

total utang (48 + 49) = 97
cost of t-shirt = 97

balance

moral of the story: wag bumili ng t-shirt pag walang pera para hindi mahirapan mag-compute ng utang

1. There's no way I would pay $97 for any shirt.
2. There's no way I would borrow money from my mom and dad for clothes.
3. There's no logic in giving them back just a $1 anyway.
4. Because I was raised on guilt, I decided not to keep the $1, and gave them each back $1.50.

$1.50 +
$1.50 +
+ $97 = $100

Simple accounting explanation:

1. Borrow 50 from mom, and 50 from dad

Cash 100

Accounts Payable mom 50

Accounts Payable dad 50

2. Bought shirt for 97

Shirt 97
Cash 97

3. Return 1 peso to mom, return 1 peso to dad

Accounts Payable mom 1

Accounts Payable dad 1

Cash 2

Summary of Transactions:

Assets:

Tshirt 97

Cash 1

__ Total Assets : 98

Liability

Accounts Payable mom 49
Accounts payable dad 49

___ Total Liability 98

Accounting equity:

Assets = Liabilities + Capital

98 = 98 + 0

The accountant gets that one. That one-hundred peso bit is the orifice decoy. Balanse naman. Piso o isang daan. A mathematician has nothing to do with it. And talkin' 'bout balances and math geeks, here's a thought. Thanks, Meggie.

"One Saturday night, a math professor is disturbed in his sleep, gets up, scratches his head, swears his No-wonder-why-Newton-remained-a-virgin drip, walks to the window, puts a damp finger 'tween the blinds and sees that a house in his block is on fire. He has observed, as his eyes pour vision upon street below, that the poor blokes are trying to see how to put the fire problem down to its root.

The mathematician, blinks, turns and goes to the toilet, scratches his head, turns the tap, and sees water coming out.

'Oh. There is a solution then.', he mutters. Closes the tap. And goes back to his sleep."

Balanse ba?

Maraming salamat po!

Heartfelt Thanks To My Friends At WW2BAM

It's been forty four days since my dad passed away and I together with my family would now like to take the opportunity to express our thanks to My Friends At WW2BAM.

I purposely did not announce the demise of my dad in the room as I preferred to keep my private life separate from my chat life. But I was pleasantly surprised, when a fellow chatter came over to the wake with a beautiful flower arrangement with the following sentiment:

Dear Jet,

Our sincere sympathy and prayers are with you and your loved ones as you cope with the great loss of your good father. We hope you find lasting solace in the knowledge that you were always a devoted son to him and that he smiles upon you from above.

Our Sympathies,

Your Friends At WW2BAM

With it also came an envelope with cash which we were able to put to good use.
I would also like to express my thanks to some of the chatters who managed to attend the wake despite the unholy hour and the long distance they had to travel, you know who you are and we appreciate the gesture.
WW2BAM thanks again.

m'am book, my behbeh, readers and posters,

the time for change has come upon us. i know that some of you look at this change with dread and anxiety, but i want to assure you, this change is done with the sincere hope that it will make the forum wwtbam better. things are going to be different, but we are hoping that we can still keep the same heart and spirit that drove the wwtbam forum in bravenet for almost 2 years intact in our new house.

i would like to thank m'am book for all her hard work, sacrifice, and diligence in creating this forum for the wwtbam chatters and visitors. this forum has been an important source of entertainment and information. through this forum, we learned more about our friends and colleagues, their birthdays, their favorite personalities in the room, the EB's, their achievements, graduations, exciting milestones, and even passing away of their loved ones. we cheered when we saw love found, and felt sadness when we read of love lost. some postings motivated, encouraged, and even challenged us. most of all, we all learned to laugh. be it a one liner or a funny story, a majority of the postings made us smile. while there were those postings that tried our patience and fortitude (as readers and moderators), we learned to move on. all this because one person, bookworm, thought of one day creating a forum. i know we can never all thank you enough m'am book. thank you to everyone who read, wrote, commented, reacted, cried, laughed, and reflected on the postings in the forum. the forum housed brilliant minds, as seen in the wittiness and intelligence of most of the postings, but it was the emotional reaction from the readers and posters that gave this forum a heart. without you (the readers and posters), and your heart, this forum would have been nothing more than a typical message board.

thank you m'am book and everyone for allowing me to serve this forum as its moderator. it has been a pleasure knowing that i have made my own tiny contribution to the room and its inhabitants. i have been the moderator for this forum for over a year, and i enjoyed every minute of it. i remembered the forum when it was launched. it was an instant hit, and immediately gained readership. back then, most of the postings were inspirational stories, birthday greetings, EB announcements, games by kosme, and interesting articles found in the net. the forum and its range of topic grew in time. now we frequently see controversial issues that hit on topics such as politics (see the trillanes thread) and religion. i have to admit that being the moderator was tough, but i even looked forward to the complaints because it at least told me, there are more than 3 people (m'am book, my behbeh, and me) who read the forum . above all, i would like to thank my behbeh, epang . not only did she help me archive the messages, but she also told me of important postings that needed my immediate attention. she was my eyes and ears when it came to gauging the reactions from the readers of the forum. she was the yin to my yang. she helped me look at issues from different perspectives. thank you behbeh for being there, even if just to listen to me and for supporting me in doing my task as moderator .

while i sadly and fondly reminisce the passing of wwtbam forum in bravenet, i look forward to the exciting times ahead of us in our forum's new house in ezboard. of couse m'am book, epang, and i are still going to be moderators in ezboard (with me and epang taking on as roles of advisors), but we are handing over the majority of the moderating roles to the new kids on the block - kosme, celes, megan, and ogre. these kids have proven themselves to be excellent moderators during their stint as guest moderators , and we have faith in them that they will create a great environment for our new forum. please remember to apply for membership in ezboard so that you can also become a part of this bold new adventure.
thank you and good luck.
